The Gîte (La Petite Grange)

This luxury stand alone cottage has been imaginatively transformed from some of the original farm outbuildings into a truly private split-level hideaway that’s perfect for couples.

The gite at Lamoulère offers a superb standard of accommodation and fittings which has been designed to satisfy the most demanding of guests.

Opening directly on to the garden and its own 12m x 6m saltwater swimming pool, it offers wonderful uninterrupted views of secluded woodlands and pastures.

The ground floor has a contemporary fully-fitted kitchen with every convenience - electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave oven - and of course, is complete with all the accessories needed for self catering which guests can enjoy in the spacious
dining area adjacent to the kitchen.

Completing the ground floor accommodation is a relaxing lounge area with a very efficient wood-burning stove, T.V. with English, French and Dutch channels, DVD player, music system and wi-fi internet access. There is a large sofa bed for a third guest. (supplement applicable)

Stairs lead up to the spacious first floor bedroom, which has a delightful Juliette balcony with views across the valley to Lauzerte. Light and modern, it features a king size bed and leads to the en-suite, with bath and walk-in shower/wet area. Crisp white bed linen and deep pile bath towels, changed midweek, complete the contemporary feel.

From the bedroom there is direct access to the garden, where guests can relax on comfortable wooden sunloungers and enjoy a cooling dip in the private swimming pool. There is also a separate pool room with w.c. walk-in shower and copious pool towels provided. A washing machine and laundry facilities completes the gite’s services.

A laundry / maid service is available if required.

Barbeque and dining facilities are to be found poolside for making the most of the hot weather. But if guests prefer to just laze, then we can provide wonderful 3 or 4 course evening meals, complete with the famous Vin de Cahors!

Our self-contained cottage is available to rent on a weekly basis and if you should wish to bring family and friends, we have an adjacent luxury en-suite room for two with a private entrance and drinks terrace. Please see the Contact page for seasonal rates and booking request form.
