The Chambre d'Hôte
Here at Lamoulère, the chambre d'hôte is the perfect choice for couples who are travelling throughout France and looking for luxurious accommodation, be it for just an overnight or two night stay - or an extended and relaxing break.
Located in the main 200 years old farmhouse, which has been renovated to the most demanding specification, this spacious and stylish accommodation offers the highest possible standards of bed and breakfast and has its own private access to ensure that guests are able to enjoy as much a feeling of privacy as is possible.
The luxurious accommodation, which was originally a hay store, although now renovated to modern day standards expected by today’s guests, still echoes its past with the original terracotta floor tiles, the Quercy stone walls and the oak beams which span the ceiling.
Centrally heated throughout, it comprises twin beds (or double if required ), a sitting area with a comfortable sofa and easy chairs and a luxurious en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower/wet area. There are tea and coffee-making facilities and outside, it has its own private drinks/sun terrace, where breakfast can be served to guests during the long summer days.
With all our previous experience as restaurateurs, spanning over 20 years, it ensures that in addition to being served a first-class breakfast, included in the price of the room, we are able to offer guests staying at Lamoulère, a delicious 3 or 4 course evening meal accompanied by a superb choice of the fantastic local Cahors wines.
Booking to stay at Lamoulère not only provides for the most luxurious accommodation, but the highest possible standards of dining, offering a tempting choice for our guests, in addition to venturing out to one of the excellent local restaurants.
